Many Flights to Israel Canceled

Many air carriers have been instructed not to fly to Israel for 24 hours and many major airlines have canceled their flights after a rocket fell about a mile from Ben-Gurion International Airport outside of Tel Aviv. In the United States, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways have all suspended their flights to Israel. Many major European airlines have also suspended flights to Israel including Germany's largest carrier, Lufthansa while KLM and Air France have also halted flights to Tel Aviv.  

Additional carriers may also cease their own flights with little to no advance notice. As of 1030 July 22, the following airlines have suspended flights to Israel:

Advice
Confirm all flights before checking out of accommodations. Consider rescheduling flights to a later date. Remain in contact with your diplomatic mission if traveling in Israel or the West Bank. Maintain awareness of shelter locations if operating in Israel.
